A note from me…
When I began writing fiction seriously, I expected to create stories.
I didn’t expect the stories to change me.
Somewhere along the way, I discovered that the moments I enjoyed most weren’t necessarily the battles, mysteries, or revelations. They were the questions hiding beneath them.
Why do good people make bad choices?
How much of who we become was decided before we arrived?
When does loyalty become fear?
Can kindness actually change what happens next?
And perhaps the question that follows me most:
What will we pass on?
The Current is where I’d like those conversations to continue.
I’ll share what’s happening with my books, of course. But I’d also like this to become somewhere we can occasionally step away from the noise, talk about stories and life, and perhaps leave with something worth thinking about.
